>>Set up your default browser home page<<
After connecting internet default browser will be launched
automatically. To set default browser as home page: Click on Start-->
Settings--> Control panel--> Internet options. Under the General Tab go
to the Homepage window. Enter the address of the site that you want to
make your default home page.
>> Find out downloads file from internet<< After downloading any file from net, if you not find its location:
Go to desktop and click on My
Computer, then in the C: drive search "Temp. Internet
folder". That
particular downloaded file have been
stored there.
>> Check the padlock<< When you are ready to operate any financial transaction online, must
check at the bottom right hand corner of ur browser. The closed padlock
sign indicates a secure website & if the site is unsecured, the padlock
will be unlocked. Unsecured site poses threat to tour accounts
security.
>>Go to Net Securely<< Prevent your computer details being hacked while you are online by

scandisk option when your PC crashed or shut down suddenly,. You can run
it yourself by restarting and shutting down Windows in safe mode.
• Select Shutdown.
• Select Restart and click OK.
• Hold down the F8 key during restart until the Windows Startup menu
appears.
• Select Safe Mode from the Startup menu, and press the Enter button on
keyboard.
• Windows should start in Safe Mode. If Windows doesn't restart in Safe
Mode then please try again.

Placing a volume control icon on your taskbar can be helpful when
playing audio CDs and so on. To do this: Click Start > Settings >
Control panel. Double-click the multimedia icon. Click the volume tab.
