Know Your PC To Verify Some Primary Information Before Buying New Computer

Today computer is an indispensable part of our daily life. We should aware some primary information about hardware.
This information positively help someone to buy a new computer even you should not be fraud by technician who will assemble ur pc.

Let us see how we will get these fundamental information about our computer..............

1. At first right click on" My Computer" in windows operating system. Then right click on properties. Now under general tab you will get the information of processor, its speed & size of RAM. The information may be arranged such as------
   computer:
                    Intel(R)
         Pentium(R) CPU2.66GHz
         504 MB of RAM
   Now it is clear that the computer configured Pentium 4 with 2.8GHz processor & 512 MB from which 8MB for VGA memory & remaining 504MB system memory.
    
2. Let us see another---
   Start--->programs--->accessories--->system tools--->system information--->system summery.
   At right pane details information about----- OS Name, Version, OS Manufacturer, System Name, System Manufacturer, System Model, System Type,Processor,BIOS Version/Date, SMBIOS Version, Windows Directory, System Directory, Boot Device, Hardware Abstraction, Layer Version, User Name, Time Zone,
   Total Physical Memory, Available Physical Memory, Total Virtual Memory, Available Virtual Memory, Page File Space, Page File
    
3. Now right click on "My Computer"--Properties--Hardware--Device Manager. Now get the information of your computer's Hard Disk, Floppy Drive,Mouse,Keyboard,Monitor Display,Network Adapter(LAN)Audio,USB Port. Also get the Version & Name of Manufacturer, To Know more details  double click on each device & click properties. These information also available in BIOS.
   There is another important feature of Device Manager that you will get the signals/information about the device which is not functioning properly. Suppose sound is not functioning properly, there should be sign of yellow colored ? on sound of device Manager if sound driver not installed. This means sound will be o.k. only after install sound driver.
