HOW YOUR COMPUTER BE ATTACKED BY SOME MALICIOUS PROGRAM

Today using internet it is more easy to send message, financial transaction, ecommerce, entertainment---,but it will be danger for your pc without proper protection. Be cautious some online threat discussed here.

A) PHARMING
It is process by which you redirected to another site ( may be harmful) instead of that site you want to visit. Trojan spyware helps user for pharming by redirecting the browser to another site. this redirected site has been designed just as that site you wanted to visit.
Suppose for financial dealings you want to visit www.pkbank.com but on application of pharming you have to visit www.ekbank.com & there you put your secret information. After some time you will feel how dreaded it for you.
To protect your pc from pharming, regularly update & scan your pc

B) ROOTKIT
Rootkit is small malicious software which help to hide some harmful files or programs of user. Suppose a Trojan /Spyware managed to way in your pc. Now if your machine have only one rootkit,Trojan/Spyware hide itself using that rootkit & then it is very much difficult to to find out that Trojan/Spyware.

Anti-Rootkit may your solution from Rootkit. I personally use this rootkit which is very much effective. For free download go to-
www.grisoft.com/doc/download/free-antirootkit  Or if you use free Pc Tools FIREWALL PLUS both purpose will be served.

C) PHISING
By using this technique or tricks ,your personal information (eg. Bank Ac, credit card password etc.) can easily be stealth by phiser. Usually phisers are disguised themselves as an entity to whom you trust. suppose the phiser tell you that he is an executive  of your designated bank & you are directed to submit your credit card details to validate your account. You believe it & send your credit card details & as result you will be noticed that your hard earned money from bank account has been vanished.

Follow these important steps to save you from phishers-----------------
1) Don't click any link where you are directed to submit your personal information.
2) Don't put your personal information in any pop up window.
3) Phisers generally instruct you to make urgent action otherwise your account will be terminated.
4) Messages from phisers are usually contains several spelling mistake & inappropriate grammar.
5) Use a modern 7 most secured browser containing phising control option.
I will recommend   ,the best one.

D) KEYLOGGER
keyloggers are those program which stores every key stroke. they are mainly bundled with spyware. if any keylogger installed in your machine, it monitors all key stroke, pssword, credit card no. etc & send these information to the third person.

Install a good antispyware (such as adwarealert ,  adaware) which also featured to detect keyloggers.

E) SPAM
Everyone is known to this term. Generally spam mail has been send to product marketing. Sometimes these mail contain adware/spyware.Don't open any mail send from unknown person especially if you have to open mail attachment. Best to scan it by antivirus & antispyware. for spanm protection you can use a good spam guard ( eg. SpamBullY)

These are some technique of threat but not all. Miscreants always designed new programs to attack your pc.Be conscious about that. Must do some more things--
Instead of windows firewall keeping on install a personal firewall to prevent unauthorized accessing to your machine
